This End-User License Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of the Lewis Partners QuickBooks Online Connector (the "Service"), a software service operated by Lewis Partners ("we", "us") that connects QuickBooks Online company data to authorized AI-assisted accounting workflows on behalf of Lewis Partners and its accounting clients.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service solely in connection with accounting and bookkeeping services provided by or through Lewis Partners. The Service is for authorized users only.
The Service connects to QuickBooks Online through Intuit's official APIs only after an authorized user grants consent through Intuit's OAuth authorization flow. Access can be revoked at any time from your Intuit account settings (Apps → App connections) or by contacting us.
You agree not to: (a) use the Service to access data of any company you are not authorized to access; (b) attempt to circumvent authentication or security controls; (c) resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties; or (d) use the Service in violation of applicable law or Intuit's terms of service.
Your accounting data remains yours. Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. AI-generated outputs and reports must be reviewed by a qualified professional before being relied upon; the Service does not itself constitute accounting, tax, or legal advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lewis Partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amounts paid by you for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate access at any time for breach of this Agreement or to protect the Service or its users. You may stop using the Service and revoke its QuickBooks access at any time.
We may update this Agreement from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
